Bàn thắng của Mikey

Tối hôm qua là trận bóng đá đầu tiên của đội bóng U-10 trường tôi, và em trai tôi cũng tham gia. Đến vài phút cuối, đội của em trai tôi vẫn đang dẫn 2-1. Học sinh, thầy cô giáo và rất nhiều phụ huynh đến chật sân trường, cùng hò reo cổ vũ.

Khi chỉ còn khoảng 10 giây nữa, quả bóng lăn tới trước mặt một đồng đội của em trai tôi - cậu bé Mikey. Mọi người cùng kêu lên: "Đá đi, đá đi, Mikey!" và ngay lập tức, Mikey quay người, sút cật lực! Mikey đã ghi bàn!

Mọi người ồ lên rồi chợt im lặng. Mikey đã ghi bàn, nhưng là vào lưới đội mình, làm cho trận đấu trở thành tỷ số hoà. Nhưng trong một khoảnh khắc, tất cả mọi người đều không biết nên làm thế nào. Vì Mikey bị hội chứng down và cậu bé không biết thế nào là "đá phản lưới nhà". Cậu bé cho rằng tất cả các bàn thắng đều cần được chúc mừng bằng cách ôm các đồng đội. Và thực ra, Mikey cũng "nổi tiếng" với việc... ôm chúc mừng cả cầu thủ đội bạn khi họ ghi bàn vào lưới đội mình. Sự im lặng cuối cùng bị phá vỡ khi Mikey, với khuôn mặt tràn ngập niềm vui, ôm chầm lấy em trai tôi và kêu lên:

- Tớ ghi bàn rồi! Tớ ghi bàn rồi! Tất cả mọi người đều chiến thắng!

Tôi sững người, nín thở, không biết em trai tôi sẽ phản ứng thế nào. Đó là một thằng bé thẳng thắn và nóng tính. Nó lại là đội trưởng đội bóng.

Nhưng lẽ ra tôi không cần phải lo lắng. Tôi thấy em trai tôi ôm chầm lấy Mikey và kêu to: "Tuyệt lắm Mikey! Cậu tuyệt lắm!". Ngay lập tức, cầu thủ cả hai đội đều vây quanh Mikey, chúc mừng cậu bé về bàn thắng.

Tối hôm đó, khi bố mẹ tôi hỏi đội nào thắng, tôi mỉm cười và đáp: "Tỷ số hoà. Tất cả mọi người đều chiến thắng!".
